Here are some clips from the Supertwin races from the Isle of Man TT races 2024. Filmed from Marown Church & also Douglas Road Corner on the run into Kirkmichael. Comprehensively won by Michael Dunlop on the Paton, with Peter Hickman in 2nd on the new fangled Yamaha R7. I was messing with the editing software at the start of the film but iT settles down after a while!

Just found these clips of a motorcycle trial we went to on 14th September 1997 !. I think it was at Roeburndale near Wray, just outside the Forest of Bowland. If anyone recognises the venue , or the people, please let me know. Meantime wallow in some 1990s trials nostalgia! Does anyone know who it is that nearly slides down the hill on his bum, at 2:11? 😆

A4 4-6-2 locomotive 4498 or 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley heading down the West Coast Main Line on a test run in 1995. Also on the film are various locomotives & multiple units. Filmed just north of Lancaster , nearly at Hest Bank. Filmed by my trusty videographer while I was taking the stills!!

Rob Iannucci & Team Obsolete brought over Phil Reads MV Agusta 500cc triple cylinder machine to the Isle of man for the 2023 Manx Grand Prix. Dave Roper had the honours of taking it out on a demonstration lap of the world famous TT mountain course & it sounded magnificent! @@CaptainSparkle All are rare now. My previous comment was as a child would respond to the sight of motorcycles. They were going much slower. I would like to get another. The Royal Enfield 650 c.c. Interceptor. Kit it out to be a traveler. Take trips to all state parks in my State.

@@CaptainSparkle Hello, can't get past the looks. I kept thinking my next bike would be a Yamaha XS-1. I rode one once and enjoyed it immensely. I used to ride a Honda C-110 and I was a taller kid in my class. I'm 6' 2", I prefer diminuative motorcycles. Learned to broadslide on asphalt coated with a layer of playsand riding a Honda Z-50.

I remember when Graham Walker used to commentate on the TT he used to say here comes the Guzzi V8 or whatever was racing you were able to hear it coming in the distance then passing and going into the distance that’s what communication is all about

remember hearing Ago at Mallory in 1976 in the 750cc transatlantic race and that thing was a bomb going off stretched out for 40 minutes, I stood and watched him in the pits the first time I saw the man and I thought he could only ride motorcycles he is not made to do anything else,
That's a fantastic memory, unfortunately I didn't start getting inti the racing side of bikes 'til 1978, still, we had a lot of good machinery to ogle!

the exhaust muffler should be turned 90 degrees to allow the weep hole to drip moisture out.
Sounds like that's worth checking, I don't remember seeing any kind of drain hole, though.

Sounds like the bearings in the motor are shot to me and the sound is traveling through the exhaust.
there is no mad sunday now in 2023 the snow flakes put a stop to it . sad world now in 2023 its all gone to shit .
For me Mad Sunday finished when they made the mountain one way for the whole TT, every day was "Mad Sunday" then! seemed a bit pointless after that.
